Kampung Sting, formerly part of Kampung Bojong, is one of the few villages affected by the construction of Bengoh Dam that was first built in 2007.
The village is resettled on the higher grounds of the Bengoh mountain range in Padawan. Within the vicinity of Kampung are a numbers of hiking trail and stunning waterfall that have become the main attraction for visitors and help generate revenue for the community.

Wear light clothing, good trekking shoes
Flashlight, raincoat/poncho, insect repellent, towel, swimwear, spare clothing, self-medication and toiletries.
Itinerary
8:30 am - Pick up from Hotel and proceed for 1 hour 15 minutes journey to Bengoh Dam at Pedawan District
9:45 am - Arrive at Bengoh Dam, proceed for 15 minutes boat ride across the scenenic lake
10:00am - Arrive at the bank and begin a 30 minutes hike through the tropical rainforest to the 1st waterfall, Curtain Waterfall for a brief stop
10.10am - Continue to ascend through the jungle trail to Susung Waterfall
10.40am - Arrive at the majestic Susung Waterfall. Enjoy the cool breeze from the water hovering down the waterfall, the beautiful natural surrounding and have some photo session
10.30 am - Proceed & ascend to the Susung Waterfall through the uneven landscape of jungle trail, crossing the jungle stream
11.00 am - Arrive at Susung Waterfall, photo session
11.30 am - Descend and return to the 1st waterfall for lunch. (packed lunch provided)
1.00 pm - Proceed to Kampung Sting for the scenic view and photo session
2.00 pm - Return journey to Kuching
3.00 pm - Drop off at City Hotel

Some level of fitness is required as moderate walking on the uneven landscape will be involved.
