Kuching City Tour

Kuching South Council, Cat Monument, China Town, Tua Pek Kong Temple, Kuching Waterfront (View:  Dewan Undangan Negeri Building, Fort Margretta, Astana and Malaya Kampung (village) , Golden Anniversary Bridge) & visit Chinese History Museum . Drive through Old Kuching City,  Square Tower, Old Court House, Sarawak Craft Council, Sarawak Textile Museum 

Bako National Park

Located 20KM from Kuching City . Bako National Park is . 27 SQKM natural sanctuary located on jagged peninsula between the months of Sarawak and Bako Rivers. Notable for its incredible biodiversity, from pitcher plants to terrestrial orchids, bearded pigs and long tailed ma-caques. Best place in Borneo to observe the long nosed proboscis mon-keys. Offer number of trekking & walking trails.

[Semenggoh Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre is home to semi-wild orang utan found either injured/orphaned in the forest, or rescued from captivity and rehabilitate and train to survive  the the surrounding forest reserve. Watch the orang utan that usually return to the center at feeding time. (Sighting cannot be guaranteed as orang utan are semi-will and free to roam)]

[Bau Fairy Cave is an extraordinary elevated chamber 30M above the ground.  With wonderful limestone formations resemble figures and animals, and become  a point of religious interest for some of the local. 

[Tasik Biru: “Blue Lake” in Malay due to its unnaturally blue water. It was once a goldmine site, and now is a popular tourist spot.] - Chargeable activities at Tasik Biru at own expenses.

[Siniawan Old Town is a century old small town in the Bau district, about 20km away from Kuching, the Capital of Sarawak. It holds historic significance and is well known among Sarawakians for its rustic charm and traditional wooden shop houses.

The population totals at about 3,600 people. The old quiet bazaar become lively when it is  transformed into a popular  Weekend Night Market on  every Friday , Saturday  and Sunday evenings starting 4.30pm to 11pm. (Time is subject to change)

Itinerary

D1     Arrival / City Tour

• Meet on arrival at Kuching airport (Time: TBA)

• City Tour (approximately 3 hrs)

• Check - in to hotel (Time: TBA)

• Lunch & dinner at own arrangement

D2      Bako National Park (B / Packed Lunch)

• Pick up from city hotel . 8.00AM 

• Arrive at Bako Jetty 8.45AM

• Boat ride to Bako National Park

• Packed lunch included.

• Transfer back and drop off at City hotel 2.30PM

• (Subject to weather and tidal condition, and for safety reason, the departure time from Bako is typically decided by the boatman (usually in the afternoon) ,

D3      Semenggoh / Bau & Siniawan (B)

• Pick up from city hotel . 8.00AM 

• Semenggoh Wildlife Center (Feeding Time: 9AM)

  • (Sighting of orang utan is not guarantee)

• Transfer for lunch at own expense.

• Bau Fairy Cave / Tasik Biru / Rock Maze Garden / Siniawan Old Town

  (Chargeable activities at Tasik Biru at own expense)

• Transfer for dinner at own expense.

• Transfer back and drop off at city hotel 7.00PM

D4            Hotel / Airport    (B)

• Free at own leisure

• Transfer to Kuching Airport for departure.    (Time: TBA)  

Additional Information

1. Rates are  based on minimum 4 adults (Malaysian Only) and valid until further notice 

2. Non Malaysian to pay additional charges for the entrance fee.

3. Full day tour based on 0800 - 1900hrs or 0900 - 2000hrs

4. Rates for Low Season. Surcharge will be imposed for High Season.

5. Any changes , additional requests are subject to availability and additional charges.

6. All time and tours’ duration are estimated and are subject to weather and traffic condition.

7. Sighting of wildlife involve NATURE cannot be guaranteed.
