Kuching City Tour
Kuching South Council, Cat Monument, China Town, Tua Pek Kong Temple, Kuching Waterfront (View: Dewan Undangan Negeri Building, Fort Margretta, Astana and Malaya Kampung (village) , Golden Anniversary Bridge) & visit Chinese History Museum . Drive through Old Kuching City, Square Tower, Old Court House, Sarawak Craft Council, Sarawak Textile Museum
Semenggoh Wildlife Rehabilitation Center
The Centre is home to semi-wild orang utan found either injured/orphaned in the forest, or rescued from captivity and rehabilitate and train to survive in the the surrounding forest reserve. Watch the orang utan that usually return to the center at feeding time. (Sighting cannot be guaranteed as orang utan are semi-wild and free to roam) .
Bau Fairy Cave
Bau Fairy Cave is extraordinary elevated chamber 30M above the ground. With wonderful limestone formations resemble figures and animals, and become a point of religious interest for some of the local. (For safety reason, all visitors must wear proper outdoor attire shoes and prepare torchlight in order to enter the cave)
Bau Tasik Biru
Tasik Biru in Bau is a man-made lake and was originally an open mining pit. Gold mining began there in 1820 by the Hak ka Chi-nese. The surrounding here is full of greenery, and the reflection of the mountain in the lake adds to its tranquility and beauty.
Bau Rock Maze Garden
Rock Maze Garden is weird looking natural limestone small gar-den scatter along the short walking trail with trees grow ing on top of the rock, with exposing roots.
Siniawan Old Town
Siniawan is , a century old small town in the Bau district, about 20km away from Kuching, the Capital of Sarawak. It holds historic significance and is well known among Sarawakians for its rustic charm and traditional wooden shop houses.. The population totals at about 3,600 people.
The popular Siniawan Market come alive during weekend (Fri - Sun 4.30PM-11PM) when the local community set up stalls in between the two rows of wooden shop selling local food, delicacy, and native food. Dont forget to try the Picher Plant Rice, Chai Kueh (local authenic delicacy) and Ngo Hiang (spring roll)
