Kampung Sting, formerly part of Kampung Bojong, is one of the few villages affected by the construction of Bengoh Dam that was first built in 2007.
The village is resettled on the higher grounds of Bengoh mountain range in Padawan. Within the vicinity of Kampung are a numbers of hiking trail and stunning waterfall that have become the main attraction for visitors and help generate revenue for the community.

Itinerary
Day 1 Kuching to Bengoh
8.30am Pick up from Hotel and proceed for 1 hour 15 minutes journey to Bengoh Dam
9.45am Arrive at Bengoh Dam, registered at the guard’s house proceed for 15 minutes boat ride across the lake
10.00am Arrive at the bank and begin 30 minutes hiking to the 1st waterfall, Curtain Waterfall. Take a short break and continue to trek to Susung Waterfall
10.30am Arrive at Susung Waterfall, enjoy the scenic view and have some photo taken
11.00am Return to Curtain Waterfall to arrive at 11.30am. Swim at cool stream
12.30pm Proceed to Homestay for lunch prepare by the host
After lunch, free to explore the surrounding area
18.30pm. Dinner time and enjoy the quite evening. Overnight at the the home stay. (Basic accommodation with basic amenity only – bed & mattress)
Day 2 Bengoh to Kuching
Breakfast at the homestay
Explore and enjoy the beautiful natural surrounding
11.00hrs : Take the boat back to the Bengoh Dam
12.00noon : Transfer for lunch at own expense
1.00pm Drop of at city hotel or at designated place

Some level of fitness is required as moderate walking on uneven landscape will be involved
